Food Processing Technologies and Products

Various technologies for food processing and preservation are important research areas for several faculty in the department. The faculty in this area use bench-top laboratory instruments and pilot plants to investigate physical properties of food materials and create new knowledge related to emerging technologies and value-added food products.
