Interested in a Food Science internship?

If you would like to complete an internship in Food Science and Technology for course credit, please complete the application below:

Food Science and Technology Online Internship Application

Your completed application will be forwarded to the Food Science Student Affairs and they will be in touch about the coursework required for receiving internship credit.

If your internship placement does not already have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on record, you will need to have one signed. This process can take weeks, so you must submit a copy of the MOU signed by your internship supervisor three weeks prior to the start of your internship.

Please review the Internship Checklist below to ensure you have completed all necessary steps for a successful and rewarding internship experience.

Internship Checklist:

1.     Complete FST Online Internship Application

2.     Download the one-year MOU or the three-year MOU.  

3.     Email your MOU to molang@uga.edu

a.     Check to ensure the dates on the final page of your MOU span a full year for a one-year MOU or three years for a three-year MOU

4.     Look out for an email that grants permission for you to register for the number of credit hours approved by your instructor.
